The Story of Chris Koch
Having found himself convicted of a crime he did not commit, Koch makes a personal study of law over seven years while in prison, to firstly understand and then expose how he could have been convicted without evidence to support the charges.
His study of appellant law which is used to challenge or appeal wrongful convictions, only led him to more fascinating insights and concerns about the level of corruption and dishonesty within the political and judicial systems that had convicted him.
Armed with this evidence and the belief that the truth was critical in every trial, at least beyond reasonable doubt, Koch makes several attempts while in prison to seek his freedom but to little avail. However, at every legal hurdle placed before him, he discovered a new and greater level of corruption and conspiracy to pervert the course of justice.

Fueled by a fundamental belief that everything is possible, Christopher Koch finds himself within the perfect storm of a potential marriage breakdown – due to the insecurity of his then wife Sue, who subsequently died of cancer during his ordeal, it is a story about his own personal ability and courage to walk into the most dangerous places in the world, the boardrooms and trading floors of the largest banks in the world.
What he observed and experienced is at first difficult to believe or comprehend. As the world now uncovers the chaos and greed within the world’s financial systems post the Global Financial Crisis (GFC), what Koch’s experienced can now be better understood and makes it all the more frightening.
